WELCOME

The 2012 season is already underway even though there is still snow on the ground. Planning and design meetings are happening, and if you are looking for musically drill or original compositions for your marching band, you're in the right place. There is still room for one or two more original compositions for the upcoming fall season.

Looking for more information on the creative process as well as life on the road judging and performing? Visit my newly relaunched blog!

Please note that I will be doing significantly fewer arranging gigs to make more room for original works. With the number of new concepts and ideas that I am working on, I need to make room in my schedule to make sure everything gets done in a timely manner.

FUN FACTS ABOUT THE 2010 WRITING SEASON:
Number of drill pages written: 876
Total time of music arranged or composed: 69:15

FUN FACTS ABOUT THE 2009 WRITING SEASON:
Number of drill pages written: 908
Total time of music arranged or composed: 63:33

FUN FACTS ABOUT THE 2008 WRITING SEASON:
Number of drill pages written: 689
Total time of music arranged or composed: 65:51

WHAT'S NEXT:
As soon as the next update for PyWare (including a completely revamped perspective window) is released, there will be a significant update to the samples on the drill design page. These are the same videos that are provided to all clients through the season. A number of new original show concepts are on the table for the upcoming season. I'm also working on a number of drills for Marching Show Concepts and Center X Productions that will be available for your consideration for the 2012 season and beyond.

I've completed work on my concert band version of my 1984 show entitled "The Negative Utopia". I would consider it a grade 4 or 4.5 piece that's almost 7 minutes long. Listen to it on my original compositions page.
